MLP/PPA Tour Ambassador Program

I was pleasantly surprised to be accepted into the MLP/PPA Tour Ambassador Program! Earlier this year, I came across an Instagram post about them recruiting ambassadors. I figured—why not? I wasn’t repping anything in the pickleball world yet, and this felt like a cool opportunity to get involved and maybe enjoy a few perks along the way.

The process included an interview where I had to talk about myself—something I hadn't done in almost a decade since my last corporate job interview. They wanted to see if I could help promote pickleball at the community level. I thought the conversation went well, but then... nothing. No email, no update—I figured it just wasn’t meant to be and moved on.

Then, months later, out of nowhere, I got the email: I was officially in! They needed help promoting the PPA Dallas Classic, hosted at Pickler Universe—home of the Dallas Flash. I jumped into action and did what I do best: promote the hell out of it, even with only a week's notice. All for the love of the game and growing the community.

I even made a custom shirt to rep both the Whatabangers and my new role as an MLP/PPA Tour Ambassador.  I hope to see a lot of pros there and hope to greet them and possibly get an autograph.  Wish me luck.

The event runs from July 24th to 27th. I’ll be there Thursday and Friday, and volunteering Saturday at the Dallas Flash table. If you see me, don’t be shy—come say hi or hang out!
